Q1. Who needs a pass to enter and what does it offer? +

All children under 18 must have a paid guest pass for the day of their visit and have a signed liability waiver.

All adults are free when accompanying a paying child.

*Children 1 year and under are free with the paid admission for a child older than 1 year. Children 1 year and under without accompanying an older child must purchase a pass for entry to the facility.

A paid guest pass allows unlimited access to the entire playground for the entire day (7AM to 9PM). Guests can leave and return to the facility as many times as they’d like throughout the day. There are two (2) private party rooms available for 2-hour rentals at an additional cost. (See Party Room section for more info)

Q2. What are your hours? +

Playground Plaza is open 365 days a year. We open at 7AM and the facility closes at 9PM. This includes all holidays!

Guests to Playground Plaza can purchase either a One-Day Guest Pass for $10.00 (plus tax) per child per day.

Guests can purchase a Monthly Membership Pass for unlimited access to the facility every single day during operating hours.

Q4. How secure is Playground Plaza? +

The outer-door to Playground Plaza is open everyday from 7:00AM until 9:00PM. The inner-door is always locked and can only be opened by using a valid entry code. A valid entry code is required for all children ages 0-17*. It is strongly encouraged that all guests purchase their pass online prior to arrival. Security cameras with live feeds are positioned throughout the facility to constantly monitor activity.

Q5. What benefits do the Monthly Membership Plans offer? +

We offer aggressively-priced monthly membership plans to encourage repeat visits from families. We also want to provide opportunities for families with multiple children, who may be striving to be budget-friendly, to enjoy all the benefits of an indoor playground. A monthly pass to Playground Plaza is similar to an adult’s gym membership, and we strive to offer this great social and physical benefit to all the children in our community at a reasonable price far less than most health club memberships. It is our mission to provide a secure, climate controlled facility where families of any size, and children varying in age, can find space to actively engage in play with their family and friends. A monthly membership locks in one low price that ensures a family access to Playground Plaza any day of the month – without the hassle of buying a daily pass for each visit.

All monthly membership plans are set to auto-renew each month until canceled.

All monthly membership plan holders will receive priority scheduling for seasonal photo shoots.

Q6. Why am I being charged a higher price that stated for the monthly membership? +

All memberships are pro-rated at the time of purchase. The higher price being charged covers the pro-rated amount for the current month, plus the full amount for the next month’s membership.

Q7. What should I wear when visiting? +

Both adults and children are encouraged to wear clothing suitable for active play. SOCKS MUST BE WORN by every single guest while in the facility. Shoes are not permitted outside of the entry way area. For the safety of all the children attending, we ask that all adults remove their shoes as well – unless needed for a medical purpose. This policy helps to keep our play areas clean and helps to reduce the chances of little feet being injured if accidentally stepped on in the play areas. Shoes CANNOT be worn in the bounce pad area, no exceptions.

Q8. What do you mean the facility is “staff-less” +

“Staff-less” means we may not have a Playground Plaza staff member onsite at all times. All passes are issued through the website and there are no staff to monitor children. The online payment process, secured access, and all children requiring adult supervision at all times allows Playground Plaza to be open every day of the year.

While considered staff-less, Playground Plaza staff will regularly be onsite to monitor security, maintain equipment, ensure all rules are being followed, and answer any questions you may have. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns and a staff member is not present to immediately respond.

Q9. Can children be dropped off? +

NO. Every child entering Playground Plaza must be accompanied by an adult. Adults must be in close proximity and able to keep visual contact with their child(ren) at all times. It’s Playground Plaza’s policy to require one (1) adult for every six (6) children attending.

Q10. Do we have to sign a waiver? +

YES!!! All children under the age of 18 are required to have a completed and signed waiver prior to using the facility. This is required for both a daily or monthly pass. The Liability Waiver must be electronically acknowledged when the pass is purchased online. The adult purchasing the pass acknowledges the Liability Waiver on behalf of the child or children attending, even if the child attending is not part of their family. Q11. Can I share my entrance code with friends or family? +

Every child entering the facility must have an accompanying pass for the day of their visit. Staff will regularly conduct pass verifications at random. Sharing your entrance code with any unpaid guests is a violation of our policy and any parities found to be violating this policy will be asked to leave the facility and may be permanently banned from the facility. Additionally, persons found sharing entrance codes will be held financially responsible for any guests entering without a paid pass.

Q12. Is there an Illness Policy? +

Yes, we adhere to the same sick policy as schools and most child-care facilities:

Any child with a fever of 100 degrees or higher, has vomited, or had diarrhea in the last 24 hours, or has an undiagnosed rash, should be kept home or be seen by seen by a physician. For the safety of all Playground Plaza guests we ask that all guests respect this policy. If a one-day pass has already been purchased, please contact us so we can reschedule your visit after your child has properly recovered.

Q13. How is Playground Plaza kept clean? +

We are dedicated to keeping our facility exceptionally clean and well-maintained at all times. As a staff, we follow all of the Indoor Play Area Maintenance & Sanitation guidelines established by the Minnesota Department of Health. We also ask that the adults attending the facility be responsible for cleaning up any mess made by children under their care. We believe that cleanliness and personal-responsibility is required for communities of any size to thrive and remain safe for every guest. Throughout our facility we have first aid kits, bio-clean kits, and cleaning stations for adults to utilize when needed. We ask all patrons to immediately report any unsafe or damaged equipment as well as any biological or hazardous conditions. All young children should be accompanied by an adult when using the restroom.

Q14. What to do if I see anything that appears to be hazardous or damaged? +

As a staff, we follow all of the Indoor Play Area Maintenance & Sanitation guidelines established by the Minnesota Department of Health. This includes, but is not limited to, regularly inspecting the entire facility for any damaged, broken, or hazardous equipment. Please take immediate action to clean any minor spills using the cleaning supplies found throughout.

Q15. Do you have any secured storage for belongings? +

NO. There are cubbies in the entrance area to store your belongings. Playground Plaza is not responsible for any lost/stolen items so please keep any valuables with you or at home.

Q16. Do you have a Lost and Found? +

Yes, but we encourage all guests to keep their valuables with them. Non-valuable items will be placed in our publicly-accessible Lost and Found area. Playground Plaza is not responsible for any lost or stolen property, including items stored in our cubbies, so please keep all valuables on your person.

Q17. Do you have free Wi-Fi? +

Yes, but we strongly encourage all adults to break free from electronic devices and create lasting memories with their children.

Q18. What to do in case of an Emergency? +

An adult should call 9-1-1 from their cell phone to seek immediate help and an adult should be assigned to the front door to allow First Responders access to the facility. Please contact the owners at 651-207-3306 as soon as possible to report the incident. Additionally, please report the incident at playgroundplazamg@gmail.com, being sure to include the following information:

  • Your Name, Phone Number, and Email
  • Date and Time of the Incident
  • Location of the Incident (entry way, bounce pad, cafeteria, etc.)
  • Name and ages of any involved or injured persons as well as any witnesses to said occurrence
  • Brief description of the incident
Q19. Can I host a party at Playground Plaza? +

Absolutely! Playground Plaza offers two (2) unique party rooms at our facility that can be rented for an additional fee. Party rooms must be reserved for use. Impromptu parties are not allowed in the cafeteria area. Any groups in violation of this policy may be asked to leave the facility so please be sure to book our party rooms in advance by following this link PARTY ROOM

Q20. Can I bring in outside food or drinks? +

All guests are welcome to bring in outside food and beverages or can have food delivered to the site as well. Please see our local vendor board posted in the cafeteria for local establishments as well as special offers for Playground Plaza guests. Additionally, Playground Plaza has vending machines onsite. It is a Playground Plaza policy that all guests clean their areas when finished. Guest are encouraged to use the cleaning products provided at the various cleaning stations throughout the facility. There are also brooms, dustpans, and other cleaning equipment located near the cafeteria area for all guest to use to help maintain a clean environment for everyone.

Playground Plaza expressly prohibits the following items from the facility:

  • Gum
  • All Glass Containers
  • Any Cooking Devices and Food/Beverage Warmers (e.g. hot-plates, crockpots, or coffee pots)
  • Any Alcoholic Beverages
  • Tabaco products of any kind including e-cigarette and similar products

Q21. What is the purpose for the Video Cameras through the facility? +

Security and compliance to all of the rules at Playground Plaza is one of our top concerns. The use of surveillance equipment throughout the public spaces at Playground Plaza helps us ensure that all our guests are safe and that the facility is properly maintained at all times. This helps the staff at Playground Plaza monitor behavior and ensure all guests are obeying the guidelines set forth when using the facility. The monitoring of both facility and guests ensures that parents can enjoy a carefree day of play in a secured facility.

Q22. How to I cancel my monthly membership? +

We’re sorry to hear that you want to cancel your membership. Monthly memberships are set to renew on the 1st of each month, to cancel a monthly membership plan please fill out the cancellation form PRIOR to the last day of the month. Using the form, you can direct which future date of your choosing to have the membership cancelled.

Q23. How do I use a discount code? +

While we aim to keep our prices as low as possible, occasionally Playground Plaza will issue discount codes as a promotional item. To redeem a discount code, please follow the standard checkout process and enter the promotional discount code at the time of purchase. All discount codes are good for one-use only and will expire immediately upon being redeemed.
